LIFE IN CHRIST MINISTRY is a faith-based organization dedicated to transforming lives through spiritual growth and holistic community development. Rooted in the truth of Galatians 2:20, we believe that when Christ lives in us, our lives reflect service, compassion, integrity, and purpose.
We serve vulnerable individuals and communities by addressing both spiritual and practical needs—creating sustainable change that restores dignity and builds resilience.
— Galatians 2:20
To see transformed and empowered communities where individuals live in Christ, thrive spiritually, and achieve social and economic self-reliance.
To serve communities through Christ-centered discipleship and holistic development programs that promote health, education, economic empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods—restoring hope and dignity to vulnerable populations.

My name is Muwanguzi Rodney Kironde. I am the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LIFE IN CHRIST MINISTRY.
At thirty-six years of age, I stand today only because of the grace and mercy of God. My life is a testimony that no one is beyond God’s reach and that He can transform even the most broken life into one filled with hope, purpose, and service.
When I completed my Primary Leaving Examinations (P.L.E.) at the age of twelve, I began making choices that would lead me far away from God’s purpose for my life. During my school holidays, I became involved in drug abuse, including smoking marijuana. As I continued through secondary school, I struggled with indiscipline and rebellion.
Although I successfully completed Senior Four, my life continued to spiral in the wrong direction. I surrounded myself with destructive influences, became involved in violence, and lived recklessly. At a young age, I experienced imprisonment, yet instead of changing, I wrongly viewed it as a sign of strength and continued down a destructive path.
Looking back today, I understand that what I believed was freedom was actually bondage. The enemy was leading me away from God’s purpose, and I could not yet see the loving protection my parents were trying to provide.
My mother is a servant of God, and throughout my life she continually prayed for me. She never stopped believing that God had a purpose for my life.
My late stepfather loved me as his own son. Before he passed away, he reminded me that I was his son regardless of what anyone else said. He invested in my life, taught me discipline, and encouraged me to follow Christ. Although I often made life difficult for him, he continued to love and support me.
Today I recognize that the prayers of my mother and the guidance of my late father became the strong spiritual foundation that God would later use to bring me back home.
I eventually left home seeking independence, believing I knew what was best for my life. I travelled to Lira, where I found work and stayed for several months while avoiding contact with my family.
During that time, my mother informed me that my father had become seriously ill. I returned home, but shortly afterward my father passed away. His death deeply affected me and reminded me of the faith he had tried to instill in me.
Even then, I was not yet ready to surrender my life completely to God.
Over many years, I experienced countless hardships, disappointments, and dangerous situations. Despite repeatedly walking away from God, He never abandoned me.
One of the most significant moments in my life came in 2022 when I suffered a severe spinal cord compression following a serious accident. I lived with intense pain for almost an entire year. There were many sleepless nights, and my family prepared for the possibility that I would travel to India for surgery.
In my pain, with nowhere else to turn, I knelt before God and cried out to Him in prayer.
That night, after months of suffering, God miraculously healed me. For the first time in many months, I slept peacefully. My mother was astonished because she had watched me endure constant pain and believed something extraordinary had happened.
That experience became undeniable evidence that God was calling me back to Himself.
Although I had experienced God’s healing, life’s challenges continued. My mother was raising my younger siblings as a widow, and our family struggled financially. Wanting to help provide for my family, I once again drifted away from serving God and pursued my own plans.
Eventually, I travelled to South Africa hoping to find opportunities that would change my family’s circumstances. However, despite all my plans, I realized that God had a different purpose for my life.
While in South Africa, I remembered the God who had healed me. I humbled myself once again, asked for forgiveness, and prayed sincerely:
“Lord, if You truly want me to serve You, make a way for me to return home, and I will serve You faithfully without compromise.”
Humanly speaking, returning home was impossible. I had no resources, and neither did my mother.
Yet God made a way.
Through His divine provision, every obstacle was overcome. Doors opened that only God could open, and despite many challenges along the journey, I safely returned home to Uganda.
That journey confirmed to me that God is faithful to those who place their trust in Him.
After returning home, I committed my life fully to serving the Lord.
Today I faithfully serve under my spiritual father, Apostle Gerald Rovis Masinde, at Bethel Covenant Connection City.
As I prayed and sought God’s direction, He burdened my heart for the communities around me.
I saw children without hope.
I saw young people trapped in drug addiction and destructive lifestyles.
I saw families struggling with poverty, unemployment, sickness, and hopelessness.
I saw widows, single parents, vulnerable children, and people who needed both practical help and the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
The Lord placed a vision in my heart—not only to preach the Gospel but to demonstrate God’s love through practical action.
As I continued praying, God gave me the name LIFE IN CHRIST MINISTRY together with our foundation scripture:
Galatians 2:20
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
This scripture became the foundation of our ministry.
Our mission is to bring both the Gospel and practical transformation to communities by serving as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
Through Bible study, education support, vocational training, health initiatives, economic empowerment, humanitarian assistance, agriculture, rehabilitation, and community development, we desire to restore hope and transform lives.
We dream of seeing children educated, families strengthened, youth rescued from addiction, vulnerable people restored, and communities transformed through the love of Christ.
Our vision extends beyond Uganda to other nations, believing that God can use this ministry to reach people throughout Africa and beyond.
Although I completed only Senior Four during my early years, God has continued to demonstrate His faithfulness.
By His grace, I later completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.
Because of my desire to know God more deeply and serve Him more effectively, I have also enrolled in a Theology and Christian Ministries program.
I continue to trust God for wisdom, provision, and opportunities—not only for my own education but also for scholarships and educational support for the children and young adults served through LIFE IN CHRIST MINISTRY.
If God could rescue and transform my life, He can do the same for anyone.
No situation is too difficult.
No life is too broken.
No mistake is too great for God’s mercy.
As the Scriptures remind us:
“For the Lord your God is a merciful God; He will not abandon or destroy you.” — Deuteronomy 4:31
And again:
“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us… From His fullness we have all received grace upon grace.” — John 1:14,16
My prayer is that this testimony encourages everyone who reads it to trust in Jesus Christ, discover His unfailing love, and experience the transforming power of His grace.
May God use this testimony to bring hope, healing, restoration, and salvation to individuals, families, communities, and nations.
To God alone be all the glory.
Amen.
